Review of 'Anne of Green Gables' by L.M. Montgomery

Anne is an eleven-year-old orphan with red hair, a miserable life and a vivid imagination. She is sent to Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, two middle aged siblings who had intended to adopt a boy to help them on their farm in the town of Avonlea in Prince Edward Island. They are surprised when Anne comes, but after bonding with her they decide to keep her. Anne has trouble getting used to this small town but after a while she manages to win everyone's hearts in Avonlea.

This wonderful and heart-warming book has changed the way I see the world.
